Miami Vice - Memorable Scene
Okay, so anyone who knows me - knows that Miami Vice tops my list of everything 80s. From the clothes, the music, the cars, the state of mind (liberation in glorified decadence) and the attitude.
Crockette and Tubbs gave me a glimpse of a celluloid Miami through Michael Mann's brilliant and edgy direction - not to mention a total lack of copyright concern when it came to putting together the soundtrack for each episode. In my opinion - that made the whole show.
This scene - literally made such a connection with me that it's not only etched in my mind permanently but everytime I see it, I get the same intense reaction. The music was well used - but of course...
